For anyone who misses Southern Gospel music as I do, I’m excited to share that it’s back on the Southern Gospel App. I recently moved from Texas to Upstate New York, and I really missed hearing this kind of music. So I started looking for it and decided to share what I found by creating the Southern Gospel App.

Christian music has changed a lot over the last 20–30 years. Today it’s more modern in both lyrics and style. Many concerts now use smoke and flashing lights, and that just isn’t what I enjoy. But I discovered that traditional Southern Gospel music is still out there. After praying about it—and using a lot of my own money—I created the Southern Gospel App.

I hope this music blesses you. I hope the songs speak to your heart, the devotionals encourage you, and most of all, that someone listening will come to know Jesus Christ today.

When I was determined to provide Southern Gospel to the Northeast, I started a radio show on Glens Falls' WBLN-LP 104.9 called the Southern Gospel Hour. Though it was canceled after the second episode, fans of Southern Gospel have asked me to keep the Idea Alive.
